At predictions.cc, we value transparency and accountability. To balance user flexibility with the integrity of the platform, the following deletion rules apply:

Edits Are Not Allowed
Once a prediction or event is created, it cannot be modified.
This ensures that all records remain verifiable and tamper-proof.

Deletion Window: 30 Minutes
Users may delete a prediction or event within 30 minutes of its creation.
After this period, deletion is no longer possible to preserve the integrity of the historical record.

Soft Delete & Visibility
Deletions are soft: the prediction or event is marked as "Withdrawn by the user", not permanently erased.
Default Behavior
Withdrawn items are hidden by default from public view and user listings.
Optional Visibility
Can be revealed via a toggle "Show deleted predictions" on user profiles and history pages.
Balance of Accountability & Flexibility
This approach maintains accountability while allowing users to fix honest mistakes.
